The Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo has pointed out that financial reparations are long overdue to Africans and the diaspora as compensation for the enslavement of people of African descent.
Akufo-Addo said this on Tuesday during the first day of launching the four-day reparations conference in the Ghanaian capital Accra on how to address such historical injustices.
